I don't think anyone gets too far into this life without having survived some dark days, and I'm no exception. The reasons why things happen to us aren't always clear, so what I've always tried to do is to put one foot in front of the other and just keep going.

I'm a born and raised Iowa girl, although my dislike of ranch dressing, mayo, and Busch Light have led some people to question my origins in this state, hahaha. I am an adventure-seeker so to keep that side of me content I have become a frequent traveler (though not so much during the pandemic).

OK, about my music. I don't like talking about myself, but people most often call my voice "powerful yet sweetly haunting". I'm an extroverted empath, so I love making deep connections with people. Deep, honest connections are everything for me. It is also important for me to help everyone feel included and to find their own unique space in this crazy world. 

At my shows, you'll see me singing and playing guitar, but if there is a piano around, I'm sure to hop on it to play a few tunes. My amazing, inspirational mom started me off on the piano when I was six years old, so I have a long history with that.
